Really proud of these girls.

The U16 PDG girls travelled across to Oxfordshire on Sunday and were all amazing.

The continuous, horrible weather meant the two counties needed to adapt and create a competitive environment that developed and stretched them as players

Both counties had squads of around 30 and effort was made to get as much game time for the players as possible.

The squad came together and from a coaching point of view, they all felt that every player put their hands up and showed what they were capable of. We started to play as a team, and you could clearly see growth in both attack and defence.

Unfortunately, there was a bad injury, and we must say a massive thanks to all the physios who were quick onto the pitch and did a great job of looking after the player.

Everyone upped their game, and it was great to see how everyone played. It was brilliant to see such a unity and bond in the squad.

A massive thanks to all of the players for their efforts. I also want to thank the parents for their support. Lastly, I would like to thank the coaches and management team for all of the time and hard work they put into this.
