Bucks Men 55 vs 15 Surrey Men

Bucks Men secure a massive 55-15 win

The men welcomed Surrey to their only home match of the County programme.

A period really good defensive work early lead to an interception try ran in from deep by Callum. Alex kicked the extras.


Some great pressure from Surrey saw them win a kickable penalty which they slotted over to make it 7-3.


Bucks grew into the game after the conversion which saw some continued phase play. This made its way across to the wing for Will to run through for a score. Alex converted again to make it 14-3.


A few minutes later, Evan put a beautiful kick into the corner which Will dotted down. A great kick from Alex made it 21-3.


The forwards mauled down the pitch which was the played out to Noah who crashed over. Alex once again slotted the conversion to take the lead out to 28-3.

The final 10 minutes of the half was a scrappy back and forth affair. Surrey came back with an unconverted score near the end of the half.


The half finished 28-8.


The second half started similarly to the end of the first with no-one really taking control.


Around 10 minutes in saw the first points of the half as Alex secured 3 more points with a penalty.


5 minutes later saw Alex slot another penalty to take it to 34-8.


A great break away try saw Noah grab his second which was converted by Alex.

With just under 10 minutes left, some great hands saw Kaz crossing over in the corner making it 46-8.


Surrey came back with some sustained pressure to get a converted try with a couple of minutes left.


With the last play of the match, some great play saw Kaz crash over which was then converted. This saw the match end 55-15.


The Bucks squad put a hell of a shift in and everyone involved should be really proud. You all played amazingly.


Now onto the women's match.
