Retaining mini & youth players
A number of unacceptable age grade match results are being reported and so this is a gentle reminder to all Buckinghamshire Clubs.
Regulation 15.11.13 states that:
Matches should be brought to an end if:
a) At U7-U13 try difference is more than 6 or
b) At U14 – U18 points difference is more than 50.
At that point the match is over, however with the agreement of both sides the game may continue either with mixed up teams or with the same teams but this will form no part of the final match score.
We are all keen to retain mini and youth players within rugby and this regulation is designed to help do exactly that.
