End of Bucks Girls U16 DPP

The 2023/24 Bucks U16 Girls DPP season has now finished.

Bucks RFU would like to say a massive well done to all of the players involved. You have all done massively well and it is great to see you continue to develop as players.

We would also like to say massive thank your to the coaching team for all of the effort that you have put in to make this all possible. Your dedication to making this a great environment doesn't go unnoticed.

A huge thanks to all of the parents as well, we know it is not easy supporting your children and making sure they are able to attend all of the sessions and be involved in the DPP.

It is an ongoing process and we are looking to continue to make the DPP better each year.

Bucks RFU Chair, Neale Baker, said "We want to continue supporting the growth of girls rugby in Bucks and the DPP is a big part of this. For those who with a passion for rugby and want to develop their skills, they need a pathway that supports this. It was brilliant watching the girls in their match against Warwickshire on Sunday and seeing how far they have come across the season".

We would also like to share some of the feedback we have received from parents this season -

“My daughter has absolutely loved being a part of the DPP squad this year. Your continued efforts and encouragement has enabled her to develop in a game that she absolutely loves. The effort and passion that your team have in developing girls rugby is absolutely incredible and we will always be grateful for this opportunity.”

“It has been a great experience, and she has really grown as a player this year.”

“She loves the coaching team and the opportunity to play a higher level of rugby.”

“Thank you for all your hard work, it has been a brilliant experience.”

We will let the coaches and players have a rest for now but we will back even stronger next season.
